We went to the soft opening tonight with friends and a toddler. The owners have added lots of thoughtful design to the restaurant that makes the atmosphere elegant but comfortable. We ordered the quail, steak, and a salad. Everything was delicious. The menu is unique and fresh. The drink menu is extensive but not overwhelming.
I can't wait for the patio to open this summer. Overlooking the river, the patio is going to be stunning.
The kids menu is fun too. We ordered the Gnocchi mac n' cheese and pigs in a blanket. My daughter ate them both and enjoyed them! The way the serve kids drinks is thoughtful too. (No risk of spilling)
Parking is a little limited right next to the restaurant. There is a bigger lot a little ways down Monroe that is free and then there is also free parking the next street over. It's nice to have free parking downtown.
This is going to be the next hot spot in GR. I can't wait to go back!

Excellent menu featuring creative and top-quality options. Linear also has an impressive wine and beer list. Great views of the city and river through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Check out the patio when the weather is nice. Plenty of on-street parking, and there is a DASH stop nearby.
