Three Happiness isn't any different than most other higher quality Asian restaurants in Grand Rapids except that their food doesn't have msg in it. My lunch was under $12 and I had more than enough to take home and eat for dinner. Their fried dumplings are very tasty and the white rice was perfect, compared to some other locations where it seems a bit hard. I got Mongolian Beef because experience in eating Asia food tells me that any meats battered and fried is going to be dry and need too much sauce, and that beef was delicious!
I will definitely be returning; everyone was very nice, the place was clean and well decorated, and the price wasn't bad for how much food I got. - M LindJan, 13 2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★We were frustrated with the lack of GOOD Chinese food in GR and decided to try this one. We're so glad we did. Their orange chicken, sesame chicken, chicken and broccoli, egg rolls and friend rice are absolutely delicious. I didn't care much for the egg drop soup which had little baby shrimp in it? If you're allergic to shell fish be careful. I also didn't care for their fried dumplings mainly because they were DEEP FRIED which was not at all what we expected. Overall would definitely recommend!!! It's our new usual spot for Chinese food!
