  This review is long over due, I am a original red head with a few grey hairs poking out from stress
  I am someone who love their hair, way too much. I’ve done pixi cuts bobs, damaged hair ends, dip dye ombre to blond (never touch my roots), long layers. But that’s not why I go to the salon.
  Ive moved a lot and have spent my time in many “styles” of salon. The very edgy cuts and shaves of Chicago youth trends. To all about hick luscious Spanish curls in personal boutique like salons in Texas. To very different experiences in NYC. Top of them all was the Japanese. I thought they had it down. 1. Go in get pampered while they do your hair with a particular way of scalp massage while shampooing and then a neck and shoulder. It was hard to top that experience.
  I must genuinely congratulate E + L for toping the Japanese. No easy feet
  Picture walking into a very serene new large open area. Chic decoration. Greeted with coffee or water, then swept away to get advise on your vision. Not all stylists are able to take your vision and make sure it works on your face structure. REMEMBER what looks great on your hair is an accessory to you, and should frame and accessorize you. Just cause bobs are cute doesn’t mean I should try to pull one off.
  On to the show. The wonderful Erin then started MY favorite part of all solon experience. The wash. While I had an entire cushioned foot cube for my feet, reclined back into a very nesseled sink. There was a stone in the sink to cradle my neck from strain. THIS was a first. Erin told me this wasn’t unusual but I had been to competition around GR on friends recommendations. No one had this. No one had it in any other city I frequent.
  THEN CAME THE SHAMPOO MASSAGE. No words her fingers were magical. I then received a shoulder head massage while my ears were gently dried. We giggled around the entire time she cut off four inches of damaged hair leaving it truly healthy, shinny (back to its youth), left in the greys at my request. My neck felt so light and fluffy.
  I came home my Boyfriend asked if my hair had gotten “redder” there was no dye involved just glorious glow.
  In fact it reminds me I should book again. Its getting to be an unruly mess again.
