  Avoid this awful place at all costs. Avoid Daniel Stout at all Costs. If I could give a zero, I would!
  
  Before Daniel, I had P.A. Alexander Corcoran and he was awesome. We would chat about things unrelated to my visit. He made me feel comfortable and welcome. Sadly, he switched offices at the end of the summer 2017.
  
  I was then switched to Daniel Stout who immediately began to treat me like some drug addict right from the beginning. He insisted on switching my anti-anxiety medication during our first visit- But, NEVER sent the substitute to my pharmacy. Because of his or the staffs mistake I was unable to fill my prescription for this substitute. So, he put on my chart that I never purchased what he prescribed.
  
  Upon returning to refill my medications, the nurse- or nurse assistant, asked about my parents (My father very recently passed away). I told her it was a touchy subject and to let it go. To which she insistently replied with more insensitive probing questions- and when I told her she was overstepping boundaries she replied with, “Seriously!?” Never once did she apologize for my loss, or even show a hint of concern that she was being hurtful or insensitive.
  
  So much for bedside manners these days.
  
  When Mr. Stout entered the room he brought some guy with him, who he didn’t bother to introduce to me. Another testament to the lack of bedside manners in this facility. The stranger transcribed the entire visit- no one asked me if I felt comfortable with the stranger in the office during my appointment. I never learned his name.
  
  Mr. Stout began going down a long laundry list of my entire medical chart. Once again- never asking me if I wanted to share my medical history with the mystery man behind the computer. Even going as far as to insist I get a mental-health screen. He then insisted that I get a PAP smear- as if he was going to require it then and there with my 3 year old daughter and some stranger in the room. Holy uncomfortable. When I told him I would schedule the PAP when I felt ready and not with him, he began to demand blood work. Although he never really shared any clear reason as to why he needed my blood- as I truly have no health issues at this time, and wasn’t requesting it.
  
  At the end of the visit he insisted that I give a urine sample- it became clear to me. This fresh out of school and desperate to make a name for himself jerk-off, was trying to peg me as some drug addict! Insisting I provide a urine sample while my 3 year old daughter was with me.
  
  I’m SO OFFENDED.
  
  I’m a full-time business professional, college educated, Mother to a 3 year old- I have my life together. I am well dressed, and well mannered. I drink rarely, if at all. When I do it’s a beer or two. I don’t smoke pot. I don’t give off the impression that I do smoke pot. I’ve even told the guy I don’t like taking my anti-anxiety medications because they make me feel drunk and I don’t like that. I agreed to try his ANTIHISTAMINE he prescribed to replace my anti-anxiety medications... that he NEVER sent to the pharmacy for pick-up. I actually was thankful for the thought of trying something different because I hate taking narcotics- I told him that. We discussed that.
  
  Where in this guy’s head did he get that I was some sort of pill pushing/pill popping, illegal drug using, addict!?
  
  What on earth made this guy think it was okay to behave so unprofessionally, so abrasively, so beyond anything I have experienced in my adult life dealing with medical professionals- is beyond me.
  
  What an offensive “medical professional.”
  
  I highly recommend staying away from Cherry Health West Side Health Clinic.
  
  I even more highly recommend staying as far away from Daniel Stout as possible. He’s an awful P.A.! He doesn’t listen, and his own personal agenda is more important than his patients health.
  
  I truly regret that Alexander Corcoran left. He had great manners, was always personable, and never made me feel guilty for needing medications to fully contribute to society.
  
  SHAME ON YOU, Daniel Stout. Go back to school and learn some manners.
